Viable Shipping is located at 214 E Columbia, Farmington, Missouri, 63640 USA.

This location is conveniently located next to several major shipping hubs. USPS is down the block from us and UPS is less than 2 miles away. We have daily pickup times from most major carriers.

We are 1.25 hours south of St. Louis and Lambert International Airport

Am I a good fit for Viable Shipping?

Viable Shipping is here to help, we are happy to answer questions about fulfillment, regardless of whether you use us for your fulfillment needs.

Our specialty is fulfillment for eCommerce stores, crowdfunding projects, and promotional distribution of small, lightweight products. Most of our clients are entrepreneurs and creators with unique products. Some have massive SKU counts and some limited.

Some examples are board games, supplements, books, electronics, toys, home goods, accessories, human and pet apparel.

Which shipping carriers do you work with?

We work with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

Do you offer FBA prep services?

We do not offer this but can coordinate with companies in our area who do.

Does using Viable Shipping require signing a long-term contract?

No! There is absolutely no commitment of any nature. You are free to come and go to accommodate what is best for your business. 

Our only request is that you give us notice prior to help us adequately prepare.

Can you help me with other projects such as labeling or bundling?

With our software, we require a barcode for each product to ensure our orders are accurate. If your products do not have one, we will charge a small fee to label them.

We do not brand or package products.

Do you offer discounted shipping rates?

We have strong relationships with major carriers such as USPS, UPS, and DHL. We have aggressively negotiated rates and will pass the savings onto you.

How do I calculate my shipping costs?

During the onboarding phase we will discuss the packaging and shipping methods and set specific parameters for your company. This will allow you to see all the options available to the destination specified including cost, weight and delivery times so you are able to make the best decision for your company. This is true for international and domestic shipping destinations.

We can give you an estimated quote on shipping to regions based on size and weight of product before you get too far into the process, to make sure you’re comfortable with the rates we will be able to offer.

Do you support custom packaging?

Our system allows you to customize your shipping label with your company information. We offer the ability to customize your packing slip with your company information and logo. Marketing materials can also be inserted into all your orders as an add-on service ranging from .10 – .25 cents per insert. Specialized instructions can be set for look, style, type and size of packaging.

How long does it take for you to receive my products?

As soon as your products arrive at our warehouse, they are then inspected, and quantities verified. At that point, you will receive an email that your products have been received and are ready to ship. This is completed within 1-4 days of arrival, depending on the influx of products and the season. There are ways to help this process be better and faster. For example: making sure your manufacturer packs one SKU per box and labels the outside of the box with product SKU and quantity, all items have barcode / SKU, and forwarding an invoice or purchase order before it arrives at our warehouse. All these things can factor into a quicker receival and check-in time. 

Can I send an order via email, fax or messenger?

Orders can be sent to us automatically through your shopping cart platform. We do not accept orders by phone, email, or fax. If there is an issue with a product and you are in discussions with our client relations team, they can fix issues, change orders, add items, cancel and create new orders. However, this is not an order creation avenue but a solution to issues.

What happens if a customer returns a product?

When we receive a return, they are inspected for signs of usage and its condition is evaluated. Our comprehensive returns process offers options designed to give you the flexibility to make the most suitable decisions concerning what to do with the product. Based on your direction we can a) put the returned item back in inventory, b) donate it, c) discard it, or, d) ship it to you. All shipping accrued for your returns process is billed to the company in which the return is for. All time involved in this process is billed by the hour to the company in which the returns are for. **We will not place used products back into inventory. 

Do you handle fragile products?

We will ship your fragile products to the specifications you require. If extra material cost is involved in securing fragile items a decision and cost associated will be agreed upon by client and shipper before shipping.

How large or heavy can my products be?

Viable Shipping specializes in smaller, lightweight items. For us, that means items weighing under 1lb and can fit inside a 5x5x5” box or smaller.

Is there a limit to the number of items we can store?

There is no strict maximum on the number of items you can store in our warehouse. However, we offer storage of 90 days stock for free and all inventory greater than is placed in long term storage and pallet storage fees will apply.  

How do I view my inventory data?

Our inventory software, Finale, sends a daily email with current numbers. If you prefer, this can be adjusted to a weekly or monthly basis. This program can also integrate with most eCommerce platforms to push live inventory updates.

What payment methods do you accept?

All invoicing is done through QuickBooks. We accept all major credit card companies, ACH (bank to bank) transfers, and international wire transfers.

Is there a minimum or maximum order volume per month?

There is no strict minimum order volume per month. However, since all shipping and supply costs are billed at straight cost, we have a $100 minimum billing requirement. This is accrued with pick and pack and pallet storage fees. If your monthly fees are below the $100 minimum, the end of month invoice will have an adjustment for the difference.

Similarly, we have no maximum order volume per month. If you have more than 5,000 orders per month, contact us first so we can find a solution tailored for your business’s needs.

Can I come visit your warehouse?

Unfortunately, we can’t allow you to enter our warehouse. As much as we’d love to show you the operations, we have to protect our clients’ products, brands, and intellectual property. On the plus side, if you’re working with us, you can rest assured that your products and identity are confidential with no exceptions!

That being said, we do love our clients and value our personal relationships with you! We are happy to meet in our office or at your location to discuss any of your questions, concerns, or just to get to know each other. You can call or email us to set up a meeting at your convenience.

Do you offer customer service for our products?

We provide customer service with a dedicated team for our own services. We do not, however, provide dedicated support for end-users of your product. This is to ensure that we can provide efficient fulfillment operations and low costs for your business.

Are there any products that are restricted or prohibited?

Yes. Please review thoroughly the following list to familiarize yourself with the type of products we do not offer fulfillment services for, as follows:


–    Hazardous products.
–    Any product related to illegal activities including fraudulent or counterfeit products.
–    Any product, which is illegal under the applicable laws in the jurisdiction where our warehouse is located, or the product’s place of origin.
–    Any product requiring a license or other regulatory approval in the jurisdiction where our warehouse is located, the product’s place of origin or its destination (e.g., precious metals, drugs, and pharmaceutical products, firearm and ammunition).
–    Any product with specific storage or transportation restrictions and/or limitations.
–    Vintage or antiques.
–    Flammable liquids.
–    Perishable food products and/or climate-controlled warehouse products such as frozen goods.
–    Any product requiring ID verification (e.g., Tobacco and E-cigarettes, Alcohol, CBD Products, and Knives).
–    High-value products (including, without limitation, iPads, laptops, designer jewelry).
–   Any product loaded with or containing monetary value (e.g., cash equivalents, gift cards, money orders, checks, coins).
–   Adult, adult-themed and/or sexually provocative products.

Please note: Shipping carriers and specific destinations may have additional limitations and prohibitions beyond those of Viable Shipping, for which you are solely responsible in accordance with the applicable local laws, terms and conditions, and policies/or governmental bodies. You are expected to conduct an independent research to ensure that the products sent to our warehouse are in compliance with the foregoing limitations.

Do you handle food items?

Typically, we do not handle food items. We make exceptions for non-perishable, shelf-stable goods. If you are interested in shipping food items that meet those two criteria, contact us ahead of time and we can find a solution tailored for your business’s needs.

On which days will Viable Shipping be closed?

Viable Shipping is closed on Sundays. Our warehouse operates on Saturdays to fulfill orders but our main office is closed. We are closed on the following days for national and religious holidays:
