Viable Shipping is located at 214 W. Columbia, Farmington, Missouri, 63640 USA.
This location is conveniently located next to several major shipping hubs. USPS is down the block from us and UPS is less than 2 miles away. We have daily pickup times from most major carriers.
We are 1.25 hours south of St. Louis and Lambert International Airport

Viable Shipping is here to help, we are happy to answer questions about fulfillment, regardless of whether you use us for your fulfillment needs.
Our specialty is fulfillment for eCommerce stores. Most of our clients are entrepreneurs and creators with unique products. Some have massive SKU counts and some limited. We do not offer inspection or freight forwarding services.
Some examples are board games, supplements, books, electronics, toys, home goods, accessories, human and pet apparel.

Which shipping carriers do you work with?
We work with USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
Do you send shipments to Amazon FBA?
We offer this service exclusively to our fulfillment clients. To qualify, we must actively be providing fulfillment for FBM or another eCommerce platform.
Does using Viable Shipping require signing a long-term contract?
No! There is absolutely no commitment. This ensures we work for you. You are free to come and go to accommodate what is best for your business.
Our only request is that you give us notice prior to help us adequately prepare.

Can you help me with other projects such as labeling or bundling?
We can label products for a fee.

Do you offer discounted shipping rates?
We have strong relationships with major carriers such as USPS, UPS, and DHL. We have aggressively negotiated rates and will pass the savings onto you.
How do I calculate my shipping costs?
During the onboarding phase we will discuss the packaging and shipping methods you prefer. We can give you an estimated quote on shipping to regions based on size and weight of product before you get too far into the process, to make sure you’re comfortable with the rates we are able to offer.
Once onboarded, you will have access to full cost breakdown for every order we process including shipping, packaging cost, and pick and pack.
Do you support custom packaging?
We do not brand or package products. However, if you wish to supply your own customized packaging we are happy to use them for no additional cost.
We are able to add customization to your packing slips and can add your company logo to shipping labels.
Marketing materials can also be inserted into all your orders as an add-on service. Specialized instructions can be set for look, style, type and size of packaging.
How long does it take for you to receive my products?
When we receive your product quantities are counted and verified, as well as general inspection for any products damaged in transport. All received shipments are checked in within 2-3 business days. Volume and packaging will effect this timeline. To increase check in times, make sure all cases and/or pallets include your company name. Including product information on the outside such as SKU and quantity will also help us in receiving.
We will then update our system with the received inventory. Inventory stored with us is viewable 24/7 through the access we will give you. If there are any problems with the shipment or received units we will notify you.
Can I send an order via email, fax or messenger?
With most eCommerce platforms manual orders can be created by your team in the back end of the system. Since we integrate directly, these orders will automatically drop into our shipping queue. New order creation should be handled this way if possible.
If there is an issue with a order, or if an order needs altered, you may contact our client relations team through email or the instant messaging system we use. Please note that most orders are shipped same day and may not be available for changes if already shipped. This is not an order creation avenue but a solution to issues.
What happens if a customer returns a product?
We are able to receive and process customer returns at our facility. Our comprehensive returns process offers options designed to give you the flexibility to make the most suitable decisions concerning what to do with the product. Any combination of these may be utilized. We can change the options being utilized for your products at any time.
We will not handle or process any returns that may have come into contact with bodily fluids or harmful chemicals.
Do you handle fragile products?
We will ship your fragile products to the specifications you require. Special packing materials can be purchased for your items if required. We are not liable for items broken in transit.
Our standard is to use air pillows, bubble wrap, and bio-degradable packing peanuts when preparing shipments.
How large or heavy can my products be?
Viable Shipping specializes in smaller, lightweight items. For us, that means individual items weighing under 1lb and can fit inside a 5x5x5” box or smaller.
Is there a limit to the number of items we can store?
There is no strict maximum on the number of items you can store in our warehouse.
We do offer storage of 90 days stock for free and all inventory greater than is placed in long term storage and pallet storage fees will apply.
How do I view my inventory data?
We utilize an in-house program. We will provide access to your inventory data that can be accessed at any time. This data is updated every hour.
Our program can also integrate with most eCommerce platforms to push live inventory updates.
What payment methods do you accept?
We utilize an automate billing system that requires a debit / credit card to be on file. The system bills on a threshold of $500. Once this threshold has been met through shipping, pick and pack, packaging supplies, pallet storage, or any other miscellaneous work, it will charge the card on file for $500. If this threshold is met multiple times in a single day it will result in multiple charges in a single day.
Is there a minimum or maximum order volume per month?
We do not have a minimum order volume per month. However, since all shipping and supply costs are billed at straight cost, we have a $500 minimum billing requirement. This is accrued with pick and pack, pallet storage, or other miscellaneous labor we may do. If your monthly fees are below the $500 minimum, the end of month invoice will have an adjustment for the difference.
Similarly, we have no maximum order volume per month. If you have more than 5,000 orders per month, contact us first so we can find a solution tailored for your business’s needs.
Can I come visit your warehouse?
Unfortunately, we can’t allow you to enter our warehouse. As much as we’d love to show you the operations, we have to protect our clients’ products, brands, and intellectual property. On the plus side, if you’re working with us, you can rest assured that your products and identity are confidential with no exceptions!
That being said, we do love our clients and value our personal relationships with you! We are happy to meet in our office or at your location to discuss any of your questions, concerns, or just to get to know each other. You can call or email us to set up a meeting at your convenience.
Do you offer customer service for our products?
We do not provide dedicated support for end-users of your product.
Our client relations team will work with you and our warehouse to resolve any issues with shipments, work orders, or invoicing.
Are there any products that are restricted or prohibited?
Yes. Please review thoroughly the following list to familiarize yourself with the type of products we do not offer fulfillment services for, as follows:
Please note: Shipping carriers and specific destinations may have additional limitations and prohibitions beyond those of Viable Shipping, for which you are solely responsible in accordance with the applicable local laws, terms and conditions, and policies/or governmental bodies. You are expected to conduct an independent research to ensure that the products sent to our warehouse are in compliance with the foregoing limitations.
Do you handle food items?
We can accept items that are non-perishable, shelf-stable goods that can be kept at ambient temperatures.
We cannot accept items that need to be frozen or refrigerated.
On which days will Viable Shipping be closed?
Viable Shipping is closed on Sundays. Our warehouse operates on Saturdays to fulfill orders but our main office is closed. We are closed on the following days for national and religious holidays:
